Mr. Bill Peak age 75 of Lebanon passed away at his home June 26, 2026, following an extended illness. A native of Portland, TN, he was the son of the late William Porter Peak and Mary Elizabeth Perkins Peak Ford. Bill worked various places through the years including, Perfection Dairy, Texas Boot Co., and Perma-Pipe Mid Wesco. He loved the great outdoors where he spent most of his time. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Bill loved spending time with his family and friends and his hunting and fishing buddies. He loved cars and his favorite was the Chevy Corvette. He was a fan of Elvis Presley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by grandfather, Austin Peak; His devoted aunt, who raised him, Nell Pickett; sister, Patricia (Robert) Brewington; two brothers: Timothy and Terry Peak.
Bill is survived by his wife, Kimberly Lackey Peak; daughter, Dinisha (Jason) Smith; two grandsons, William and Jacob Smith; two sisters: Mary Ann (Nelson) Armstrong, Judy Fisher Jones (Barney); three brothers: Michael, Eddie and Jimmy Ford; brother-in-law, Johnnie Fisher; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Rev. David Freeman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the doctors, nurses and medical facilities who took such wonderful care of Bill during his illness.
