Mrs. Wanda Cantrell Powell age 85 of Lebanon passed away February 17, 2024, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.  Born in Davidson County, TN, March 26, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Frances Yvonne Ketron Cantrell.

She retired from Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a surgical nurse after over thirty years of service.  She attended the Lebanon Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She was preceded in death by two daughters:  Livia Rodriguez and Tuanya Lee Brumley; sister, Nelda Street; three brothers:  Eddie, Mark and Drafton Cantrell.

Survivors include five grandchildren: Crystal Villegas, Ashley Stinson, Yvonna Stinson, Cody Brumley, and Buddy Brumley; great grandchildren: Navy, Livianna, Messiah, Kennedy, Kendal, Erynn, and Miles; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.  Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Friday 3-7 PM and Saturday after 10 a.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
