Mr. W. C. Maynard age 89 of Smyrna, TN and a native of Wayne County, West Virginia, passed away March 27, 2021.  Mr. Maynard worked in the Paper Mill Industry for forty-nine years.  He was a member of the Church of Christ and served as an elder.  He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years, Jenny Queen Maynard; his parents, Larkin and Eula Cox Maynard; brother, Clayton Maynard.

He is survived by two children:  David (Rita) Maynard of Lebanon, Vickie (Dwane) Tankersley of Maumelle, Ark; three granddaughters:  Lacey (Brandon) Johnson, Lauren (Will) Drennen, Shelby (Jordan) Cantrell; three great-granddaughters:  Hallie and Haidyn Johnson, Avery Grace Drennen.

There will be a graveside service held in May at Oaklawn Cemetery in Searcy, Ark.
