Funeral services for Mr. Terry Redmon will be 12:00 Noon Friday, December 12, 2014 , at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Rob Simms officiating.  Interment will follow at Dekalb Memorial Gardens in Smithville.  Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM and Friday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Redmon, age 72 of Lebanon passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at the Pavillion.

Born June 9, 1942, in Dekalb County, he is the son of the late Henry Clarence and Evelyn Ours Redmon.  He was a 1960 graduate of Dekalb County High School, and the University of Tennessee.  He retired from Dupont where he worked as an electrical engineer.  He attended Joy Church in Mt. Juliet.  He loved bible study, sports, biking and hiking.

He was preceded in death by grandson, Daniel Hamby; sister, Phyllis Bennett.  He is survived by his wife, Phylus Stewart Redmon; two children:  Jeffery (Heidi) Redmon, Melanie (Butch) Hamby; sister, Faye Fuqua; grandchildren:  Caroline (Brian) Foster, Matthew, Katherine, Gracie, and Jonathan Hamby, Anna and Luke Redmon.  Pallbearers:  Matthew Hamby, Brian Foster, Bert Driver, Greg Driver, Milburn Rodgers, Billy Hendrixson.
