Ruby Jones Thompson, age 91 of Lebanon, passed away September 19, 2024 at her home. She was a graduate of Watertown High School and a member of the Church of Christ.  Before her marriage she worked at the former Rose's Five & Dime and the Capitol Theater.  She became a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Myrtle Slager Jones; husband of fifty years, Louis Hight Thompson; daughter, Debbie Lynn Thompson; brothers:  Joe, David and Odell Jones; sisters:  Sadie Lanius and Linda Morris.

Survivors include her son, Mark A. Thompson; brother, Sam (Dena) Jones; sister, Betty Cato.

Family and friends will assemble at Wilson County Memorial Gardens on Monday, September 23, 2024, at 1 p.m. for graveside services with Stan Stevenson officiating.
