Funeral service for Mr. Robert Earl Tomlinson will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 3, 2025, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating.  Interment Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Friday 11 AM until service.

Mr. Tomlinson, age 74 of Lebanon passed away December 24, 2024, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Born June 22, 1950, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Earl Warren Tomlinson and Annie Kathryn Wooden Tomlinson.  He was a retired contractor, and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Dollard.

He is survived by his companion, Cathryn Waters; daughter, Heather White; Beth Barry, and Bill Eatherly; grandchildren: Cooper & Samuel Sindorf, Liam & Ava Kate White, Justin & Hali Barry; great grandchildren: Brie & Bella Fitzgerald; sister, Jan (Larry) Bay; step mother, Davene Tomlinson; half sister, Tracy Tomlinson; and brother in law, Skip Dollard.
