Funeral service for Mr. Robert “Bob” Francis Pack will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Father Don Tranel officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation Tuesday 3-7 PM and Wednesday after 10 AM.
Mr. Pack, age 80 of Lebanon, passed away May 9, 2026, after a short stay at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.
Bob was born on June 8, 1945, to the late Bill and Bettie Daly Pack. He was a graduate of Tullahoma High School and Tennessee Tech. He served in the United States Navy from 1967-1971. He proudly served as a hospital corpsman in Vietnam while assigned to a Marine platoon and was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received. He worked for the State of Tennessee Department of Transportation Railroad Division, retiring after thirty years.
Bob was honored to follow in his father’s footsteps as a football official. He and his four brothers along with their father were able to officiate high school football games together. Bob received the Award of Merit in recognition of fifty years of service as a TSSAA official. Bob also ran the Lebanon Dixie Youth little league for 19 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Stan Pack; and brothers, twin Dick and Bill Pack Jr.
He is survived by his wife of almost fifty four years, Grace Pope Pack; his son Rob (Melissa) Pack; his daughter Laura (Adam) Montgomery; grandchildren: (twins) Austin (Veronica) Montgomery and Tyler (Jolee) Montgomery, and Madi (Kayne) Lucas; great grandson, Weston; his brothers, Kenny (Janie) Pack and Pat (Ginny Lynn) Pack; his sister Ginny (Dan) Wehrle; his sisters in law, Nell Pack, Mary Evelyn Pack, and Alice (Larry) Oakley; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bob enjoyed traveling with his family. He took great joy being a husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He enjoyed playing golf with his brothers and friends when given the opportunity. He traveled with the Evermean Evergreen Cloggers for over forty years watching his children and grandchildren perform and compete.
