Mr. Robert Baxter “Bob” Purcell age 68 of Lebanon passed away at his home March 31, 2026. A native of Cheyenne, Oklahoma, he was born June 9, 1957, son of the late Gooch Baxter Purcell and Marita Clay Purcell. He was a United States Army veteran and was of the United Methodist faith. He was a graduate of Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK. During his working career Bob, could do any job he set his mind too. He worked as a respiratory therapist for the most years. He also worked as a salesman and most recently retired from Kenwal in Lebanon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-three years, Pamela Schenk Purcell on February 3, 2022.

Survivors include two children: Daniel Baxter Purcell, Rebecca Jean Fowler; five grandchildren: Abigail, Reagan, and Dallas Baxter Purcell, Jaxson and Kaycie Fowler; brother, Thomas (Deb) Purcell; sister, Catherine (John) Burris.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11 a.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, with Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating. Interment with military honors will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation Monday one hour prior to the service.
