Funeral service with military honors for Mr. Patrick Shelton will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Interment will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday at the New Liberty Cemetery in Paris, TN. Visitation Wednesday 2-6 PM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Shelton, age 72 of Lebanon passed away May 24, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.

Born April 21, 1954, in Paris, Tennessee, he is the son of the late Eddie and Ivory Thompson Shelton. He served in the United States Army and the National Guard. He was a retired factory worker, and was an ordained minister. He also was an English tutor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeremy Michael Shelton; brother, Burt Edward Shelton; and a sister, Ethel Marie Pace.

He is survived by his wife, Miguela Tabuena Shelton; son, Matthew Nathaniel Shelton; sister, Jeannette (Michael) Gustafson; brother, Daniel Thomas (Sandy) Shelton; and 10 grandchildren.
