Funeral service for Pastor Manuel David Licon Sr. will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 13, 2024, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with David Licon and Pastor Hal D. Adcock officiating.  Interment will be at 1:00 P.M. at the Greenwood Cemetery North in Goodlettsville.  Visitation Friday 9 am until service.

Mr. Licon, age 85 of Lebanon passed away September 10, 2024, at AHC in Mount Juliet.

He was born June 29, 1939, in Refugio, Texas.  He was a retired pastor.  He pastored Iglesia Emanuel from November 1996 until December 2015.  He also founded Light in the Prisons Ministry in Nashville.  He was a member of Redemption Fellowship in Lebanon.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Francisca, his wife, Margarita, and several siblings.

He is survived by two children: David Licon and Yvette (Earl) Pond; two step sons, Armon Moreno and Rodolfo Morena; grandchildren: Jordan, Graham, & Trey Licon, Blakcely & Harrison Pond; two great grandchildren: Eli & Eden Licon.
