Mrs. May Lain Stewart age 89 of Lebanon died  November 11, 2015.  A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Sam and Vera Johnson Lain.  She was a homemaker and a charter member of Beckwith Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-four years, John William Stewart; and son-in-law, Terry Redmon; two brothers: Harry and James Robert Lain.

Survived by two children:  Phylus Redmon, Ronnie (Kristi) Stewart; four grandchildren:  Glenn (Penny) Bates, Steve (Jennifer) Bates, Stephanie (Eric) Jacob, Angela (Martin) Hayes; three great-grandchildren:  Bradley, Courtney and Jakob Bates; brother, Louis Lain.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. Ronnie Stewart and Eld. Danny Tomlinson officiating.  Interment – Stewart Family Cemetery.  Visitation Friday 2-7 p.m.  and Saturday after 10 a.m.
