Graveside service for Mrs. Martha Bryan Carroll will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Wilson County Memorial Gardens with Bro. Donald Owens officiating.  Visitation Tuesday 3–7 PM at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carroll, age 90 of Lebanon passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at her home.

Born November 12, 1928, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Agnes Lucille Edwards Lester and Jacob Hollis Lester.  She taught kindergarten at Immanuel Baptist Church for many years, where she was a charter member.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Clarence Shannon Carroll; infant daughter, Flora Lucille Carroll; and a brother, Lelyette Edward Bryan.

She is survived by two children: John (Penny) Carroll and Lou Ann (Randy) Katzenmiller; two grandchildren: Jeannie (Adam) Click and Dusty (Sarah) Katzenmiller; four great grandchildren: Sylvie & Camille Click, and Everett & Felicity Katzenmiller; and her beloved cat, Cici.
