Miss Marjorie Jean Taylor, age 71 of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare.  She was born in Wilson County, May 28, 1945.   She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a member of the Church of Christ.  She retired as a directory assistance operator from AT&T.

She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Taylor; sister, Judy Lynn Taylor; brother, Charles Eddie Taylor.  She is survived by mother, Lucille Locke Taylor; sisters, Cindy (Dewey) Jackson, Joanne Goad; brother, Jimmy (Peggy) Taylor; nephews, Raymond Highers, Drew (Christina) Jackson, Steven (Stephanie) Goad;  niece, Holly (Mark) Conner.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 2:00pm from Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Ronnie Gaines officiating.  Interment – Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation Sunday  1 p.m. until services at 2 pm.

Steven Goad, Raymond Highers, Drew Jackson, Dewey Jackson, Jimmy Taylor, and Mark Conners will serve as pallbearers.
