Marjean Louise Parriott, age 93, passed away peacefully at her home on October 15, 2026, following a brief illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Alvina [Braland] Osmundson; brother, Allan James Osmundson; sister-in-law and lifelong best friend, Phyllis [Jacobson] Osmundson; husband, Richard Lewis (“Dick”) Parriott; son, Daniel Richard (“Dan”) Parriott; and daughter, Denise Lynn Purdue.

She is survived by sons David Lee (Joani), and their children Jonathan (Sara) and Kathrine; Douglas Alan (Carol) and their son, Matthew (Lindsay); and Donald Lewis (Barbara) Parriott and their daughter Adley (David) Prince and step-daughter Lindsey Free, as well as five great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service at the Nashville National Cemetery will be held for the family on October 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

Friends and loved ones are invited to a memorial service celebrating Marjean’s life on October 28, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1003 Hickory Hill Lane, Hermitage, Tennessee 37076 with Rev. Andrew J. Abraham officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Trinity Hope in Marjean’s honor would be deeply appreciated.
