Mrs. Lucille Bryant Alsup age 96 of Lebanon passed away October 4, 2017. A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius Vanderbilt Bryant and Lettie Mae Ledbetter Bryant Mitchener.  She was a member of Barton's Creek Baptist Church.  She worked for many years at the Lebanon Garment Company, Horace Small Manufacturing and retired from Lux Robertshaw.  After retiring, she was a sitter and caregiver. She was preceded in death by four sisters:  Catherine Brooks, Louise Hunt, Polly Frost, Ruth Agee; two brothers:  Holloway and Dayton Bryant; son-in-law, Eldon Smith.

She is survived by three children: John "Joe" (Donna) Alsup,  Nelda Louise Smith, Ray Owen Alsup; sister, Evelyn O'Neal; seven grandchildren:  Daniel (Laura) Alsup, Debbie (Mike) Sloan, Renee Alsup (Mark) Manning, Rachel Alsup (Tommy) Trice, Ryan (Monica) Alsup, Stan Smith, Landon Smith; fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 6, 2017, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Charles McKnight officiating. Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers:  Stan Smith, Landon Smith, Daniel Alsup, Ryan Alsup, John Ryan Manning, Matthew, Mark Manning, Luke Manning.  Visitation Thursday 3-8 p.m. and Friday after 11 a.m.
