Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Dawson Conatser will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Jon Akin officiating.  Interment will follow at Conatser Cemetery.  Visitation Tuesday 2-7 P.M. and Wednesday after 9 A.M. at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Conatser, age 93 of Lebanon passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Tennova Healthcare.

Born December 21, 1922, in Smith County, she is the daughter of the late Phocian and John Lillie Parker Dawson.  She worked the front desk at Holiday Inn for many years and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. V. Conatser on May 30, 1967; sisters, Jewell Bennett, Alma Conatser, Thelma Dawson, Joyce Gann, Flora Dean Dawson, Lera Bates, and Hilda Marvelyne Place; and a brother, Floyd Dawson.

She is survived by sister, Dorothy (Kennard) Reed; nieces, Sandra (Frank) Hartley and Linda (Wayne) Ligon; nephews, Clinton (Kathy) Mathews, Bryson Place, John (Gail) Gann, Jeffrey (Mollie) Reed and Chris (Teresa) Reed; great nieces and nephews, Julie & Jennifer Hartley, Jason (Amie) Ligon, Courtney Ligon, Cody & Callie Gann, Melinda Mathews, Elizabeth (Eric) Palmer, Trey (Becky) Mathews, Michael & Hannah Mathews, Gracie & Matthew Palmer, and Erin & Abby Reed; and brother in law, Gus Bates.
