Mrs. Katie Carpenter, age 75 of Lebanon passed away June 22, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.

Born April 19, 1949, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Sara Virginia Reed Johnson.  She worked for many years at Kroger in the meat department and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brad Carpenter, and a son, Robert Edward Whited.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Sue Brock; two granddaughters, Amberia Tate and Andrea Greer; 9 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
