Funeral services for Mr. Joe Warden will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 23, 2015, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Bro. Donald Owens and Pastor John Hunn officiating.  Interment with military honors will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Saturday 2–6 PM at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and Sunday after 1 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church.

Mr. Warden, age 91 of Lebanon passed away Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Quality Care in Lebanon.

Born January 18, 1924, in Overton County, he is the son of the late Joe Bob and Alta Zora Moore Warden.  He was an Army veteran serving during World War II, and retired from TRW with thirty years' service.  He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he had served as a Sunday school teacher and a deacon.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Gertrude Mason, Lela Denney, and Sue Bilbrey.

He is survived by his wife of over sixty six years, Inez Dunn Warden; daughter and son in law, Peggy and James Camp; two grandchildren, Sara (Charlie) Lowery and Jeremy Camp; great grandchildren, Gavin, Sara Grace, and Grayson James Lowery, two sisters, Lois (Billy) Whited and Joyce (Joe Allen) Marks; two brothers, Carlos (Helen) Warden and Billy (Oleda) Warden; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Sherry's Run.
