Mrs. JoAnne Taylor Goad age 84 of Lebanon passed away September 12, 2026, at Cedar Creek Post Acute Health Care in Mt. Juliet. Born October 29, 1941, in Lebanon, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Herman Taylor and Lucille Locke Taylor.

A 1960 graduate of Lebanon High School, she was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker most of her life. She worked at Fortune Plastics for a time before going to work in the home to raise her children.

In addition to her parents, JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Goad; two brothers: Jimmy Taylor and Eddie Taylor; two sisters: Judy Taylor and Margie Taylor.

Survivors include two children: Holly Anita (Mark) Conner, Steven (Stephanie) Goad; two grandchildren: Hunter Conner and Lillian Goad; great-grandchild, Eden Conner; sister, Cindy (Dewey) Jackson; several other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 11a.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Raymond Highers, Drew and Dewey Jackson, Hunter and Mark Conner, Steven Goad.

Visitation Tuesday 9 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
