Mr. Jasper Guy Simmons age 83 of Lebanon passed away September 27, 2025, at Quality Center for Health Care.  Born in Wilson County, August 28, 1942, he was the son of the late Nolan Guy Simmons and Vela Ogeal Massey Simmons. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School and attended the Church of Christ.  He retired from Custom Packaging with forty years of service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna June Fuller Simmons; two sisters: Doris Lane and Irene Lee; two brothers: Robert and Kenneth Simmons.

Survivors include two sons: Wayne and Michael Simmons; two grandchildren: Makayla Simmons (Andrew Reid), Austin Simmons; brother, James (Carmenza) Simmons.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Tyler Alverson officiating.  Interment will be in Wilson County Memorial Gardens at a later date.  Visitation Sunday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
