Mrs. Irene Tripp Harris age 99 of the Leeville Community passed away April 7, 2024, at Quality Center.  Born March 10, 1925, in Wilson County, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Forrest Tripp and Josie Mai Stewart Tripp.  She retired from Lux Clock and was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Everett Harris; son-in-law, Rodger Midgett; step-daughter, Gladys Hester; two brothers:  Floyd and Gordon Tripp; five sisters:  Ruth Tripp, Frances Travis, Louella Harris, Kathleen Kohn and Annie Carey Hall.

She is survived by three children:  Carolyn (Henry) Lane, Patricia Midgett, Charlotte (Rob) Hyde; four grandchildren:  Curtis (Amy) Lane, Russell (Lisa) Lane, Brian (Krys) Midgett, Luke (Olivia) Hyde; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 12, 2024, at 12 Noon from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Duckett officiating.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Visitation Friday 10 a.m. – 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo.
