Mrs. Helen Stewart Ragland age 92 of Lebanon passed away May 6, 2019, at her home.  A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Grover Stewart and Cora Belle Bond Stewart.  She worked as a care-giver and was a homemaker.  She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years, James Howard Ragland; sister, Cora Ella (Porter) Sanford; brother, Johnny (May) Stewart; two sons-in-law:  Tom Hall, Ronnie Hancock.  She is survived by four children:  Jim (Lynn) Ragland, Donna Hall, Debbie Hancock (Lee) Beeman, Tea Stockton; five grandchildren:  Heather (Brandt) Dooley, Ted (Bonni) Ragland, Chad (Laciana) Hall, Daphne (Eric) Coomer, Jessie (Sam) Greene; ten great-grandchildren:  Will, Lily, Kaitlyn, Jack, Hayden, Casey, Alexis, Jacob, Jackson, Evan and Josephine Louise on the way; and sister: Marie Parrish.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Price officiating.  Interment – Stewart Family Cemetery in the LaGuardo Community.  Pallbearers:  Chad Hall, Brandt Dooley, Eric Coomer, Sam Greene, Lee Beeman, James and Jeff Franklin.  Visitation Wednesday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
