Graveside service for Miss Helen Jean McClellan will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at the Ridgewood Cemetery in Carthage.  Visitation Tuesday 9:00-10:30 A.M. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Miss McClellan, age 89 of Lebanon passed away Friday, August 26, 2016, at Life Care in Old Hickory.

Born November 12, 1926, in Center Hill, Florida, she is the daughter of the late Shelton and Mary McCaleb McClellan.  She worked for Life & Casualty Insurance Company for many years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Spurgeon McClellan.

She is survived by a brother and sister in law, Gerald & Carolyn McClellan of Hermitage.
