Mrs. Hazelene Knight Mills age 77 of Lebanon passed away March 30, 2016, at the Pavilion.  A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Eunice Lear Knight. She graduated from Memphis State University and attended Trevecca Nazarene College. She worked at McClain Elementary and taught social studies at Lebanon High School for twenty years.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Wilson County Retired Teachers, ADK and the B & PW Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph "Joe" Mills, September 5, 2000.

Survived by two children:  Michael J. Mills and Lisa Michelle Mills; several cousins.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 2 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Potts officiating.  Inurnment – Cedar Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, April 8, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and Saturday 12 Noon until service at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or New Leash on Life.
