Memorial service for Ms. Glinda Ruth Sharp Jenkins will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Smith officiating.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until service.

Ms. Jenkins, age 71 of Lebanon passed away November 18, 2023, at her home.

Born July 7, 1952, in Haywood County, North Carolina, she is the daughter of the late John B. and Gladys Myrtle Deaver Sharp.  She graduated from Pisgah High School in Canton, North Carolina, and later graduated from Austin Peay State University.  She was the manager of the Medical Lab at Northcrest Medical Center for twenty five years, and was a member of North Springfield Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Elaine Sharp.

She is survived by daughter, Leigh Anne Collins (Billy Tippit); three granddaughters, Amanda Sheffield (Ashley), Ashley Hartsock (Joey), Allison Collins (Carston); great grandchild, Griffin Sheffield; sister, Lisa Cabe, and brother, Sam Sharp.
