Funeral services for Mrs. Georgia Martin Johnson will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Ron Hackney officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Tuesday 4-8 PM and Wednesday after 10 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Johnson, age 94 of Lebanon passed away Monday, November 7, 2016, at Tennova Health Care.

Born May 11, 1922, in Pickett County, she is the daughter of the late Luther and Ada Dean Harrison Martin.  She was a member of Hickory Ridge Church of Christ.  She worked at the Holiday Inn and was an attendant at the Wash-A-Teria for thirty years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Howard Johnson; five brothers, James, Walton, Forrest, Bobby and Luke Martin; and five sisters, Maggie Wilburn, Cleavie Riley, Sally Maynard, Bea Coleman, and Leorie Frye.

She is survived by three daughters: Pamela Young, Penny (John) Carroll, and Patricia (Robert) Sobieszczyk; three grandchildren, Stephanie (Alex) Ward, Howard Joseph Sobieszczyk, and Hanley Turner Sobieszczyk; and one great grandson, Luther Ward.
