Mrs. Gail Murphy Davis age 70 of Lebanon died October 17, 2015.  A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of the late John C. Murphy and Ruby Bell Anderson Davis. She was a 1963 graduate of Lebanon High School.  She worked in the cafeteria at Sam Houston School for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles C. Davis; sister, Joy Murphy McKnight.  Survived by two daughters:  Kimberly Davis and Christy Davis; sister, Rita Owens; two nephews:  Danny Wayne (Beverly) Owens and James Gentry; two great-nephews:  Zach Owens and Travis Grisham.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. Junior Dickerson officiating.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Monday 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday after 11 a.m.
