Funeral services for Mrs. Fostyne McCaleb Lain will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. James Massey and Eld. Danny Tomlinson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Wilson County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.  Visitation Tuesday 2–7 PM and Wednesday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Lain, age 94 of Lebanon passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017, at her home.

Born February 11, 1923, in Smith County, she is the daughter of the late Willie and Molly Jones McCaleb. She worked at AVCO and Robertshaw, and was a member of Beckwith Missionary Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty eight years, Harry E. Lain on January 24, 2003; four brothers, Benny, L. B., Nat, and Bill McCaleb; two half sisters, Ina Pettross and Billie Conlan; and two half brothers, Johnnie and Robert Overstreet.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Womack and Sandra Lain; two grandchildren, Jeff (Candy) Lackey and Betsy Womack (Michael) Smelser; four great grandchildren, Jena (Matt) Aderhold, Jessica Lackey, Landon Smelser and Haydon Smelser; great great granddaughter, Lylah Gail Aderhold; two sisters, Frankie Tomlinson and Dimple (George) Taylor; and sister in law, Lou McCaleb.
