Mr. Eris McRay "Ray" Derryberry age 68 of Lebanon passed away January 8, 2025, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital.  He was born in Davidson County, May 9, 1956, son of the late Eris McRay Derryberry Sr and Lois Evelyn Stevens Derryberry.

He attended the Tennessee School for the Blind and was an Honorary Member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity.  He worked with Prospect.

He is survived by his caregivers:   Wanda and Tommy Gibbons and Rhonda Blair.  Special thanks to Vicki McKissick and True Vision Services and Becky Harris and Robin Maynard and BGC.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 2 p.m. with eulogies by Dorian Clark, Anissa Palmer, Katina Stigall.  Interment – Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Wednesday 12 Noon- 2 p.m.
