Mrs. Erika Braun Payne age 73 of Lebanon passed away September 27, 2025, at her home.  She was born in Munich, Germany, March 23, 1952, the daughter of Alexander and Mary Braun. She retired from the Nissan plant in Smyrna with over twenty years of service.  She attended the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters:  Mary and Betty Braun, and Katie Raymond; brother, Alex Braun.

Survivors include:  her husband of forty-four years, Joseph A. Payne; two children:  Anthony (Brandy) Braun, Casey (Frank) Forkum; five grandchildren:  Madilynn Forkum, Hannah Forkum, Emily Braun, Lindsey Braun, Logan Braun.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 11 a.m. from the Spring Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Elizabeth Gilliam officiating.
