Miss Emily Joy Davis age 78 of Nashville passed away peacefully Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Mur-Ci Homes in Nashville.  A native of Davidson County, she was the daughter of the late Namon Buell Davis and Virginia Lindsley Davis.

She completed her education in the Metro-Nashville Public Schools and was a member of Brook Hollow Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Lawrence Lindsley Davis and his wife, Karen.  She is survived by several cousins.

Family and friends will assemble Friday, February 7, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Lebanon Rd in Nashville for graveside services with Rev. Philip Lindsley officiating.
