Funeral services for Mr. Elmer Miley Jr. will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Denton, Chris Hamblen, and Rolland Adcox officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Wednesday 2-7 PM and Thursday after 9 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Miley, age 79 of Lebanon passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, at his home.

Born April 17, 1938, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the son of the late Otis Elmer Miley Sr. and Elsie Miller Miley. He owned and operated Miley's Exxon for many years, and was a deputy for the Wilson County Sheriff Department for twenty five years.  He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Linda Nipper Miley; son, Michael (Cindy) Miley; two daughters, Teresa Miley and Liberty McBroom; sister, Delores Miller; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
