Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Dean Raines Phillips will be 1:00 PM Thursday, April 23, 2015, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Eld. Danny Raines officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation Wednesday 2-8 PM and Thursday after 11 AM at Ligon & Bobo.  Honorary pallbearers: Darlene Smith, Carolyn Young, Josephine Thompson, Scott Tungate, and Matthew Phillips.  Active pallbearers:  Wayne Carmack, Kenny Bowen, Michael Phillips, Randy Phillips, Vernon Raines, and Michael Harris.

Mrs. Phillips, age 74 of Lebanon passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, at her home.

Born November 11, 1940, in Macon County, she is the daughter of the late Alexander and Emily Key Raines.  Over the years, she had worked at Lebanon Garment Factory, Texas Boot, and retired from Wythe Will Candy.  She was a member of Town Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Bunia Robinson and Lexie Fish; and three brothers, Robert Robinson, Chanie Raines, and Sammie Raines.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Phillips whom she married March 7, 1959; three children, Pamela (Steve) Parks; Darron Phillips, and Mindy (Jason Leftrick) Harrington; three sisters, Virgie Pharris, Louise Otto, and Hazel Davenport; brother, Jimmie Raines; four grandchildren, Melissa (Mike) Burgess, Dustin (Ashley) Phillips, Emily Brown, and Mallory Harrington; and two great grandchildren, Braiden Phillips and Tajjiana Bass.
