Graveside services for Mr. Dorris E. Sandlin will be 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Otis Agee officiating.  Visitation Thursday after 10:30 AM at Ligon & Bobo.

Mr. Sandlin, age 74 of Lebanon passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at his home after a long illness.

Born December 2, 1941, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Roby Wilson Sandlin and Mattie Maple Eakes Sandlin.  He was a Baptist and worked at the Lebanon Woolen Mill for many years.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Sandlin; grandson, Brandon Davis; son in law, Roger Davis; and sister, Margaret Sandlin.

He is survived by his wife of fifty one years, Arlene Rich Sandlin; daughter, Tina Sandlin Davis; son, Timothy Shane (Dr. Rebecca) Sandlin; grandchildren, Dalton & Ashley Davis and Maxwell Edwin Sandlin; brother and sister in law, Darwin & Joyce Sandlin; devoted nephews, Mark & Steven Sandlin, and niece Theresa Agee.
