Mrs. Donna Kay Moseley (D.K.) died peacefully at her home on November 14, 2018, in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, at the age of 66.

Donna Kay is survived by her husband, Mark Alan Moseley; sister, Sherron Gene Lydia Jones Pape (Wes) of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother, Glenn Royce Jones of Great Falls, Montana; sister in law, Gayle Jones-Skelton (Michael) of Bartlett, TN; adopted son, Justin Ryan (Scott) of Nashville; and a multitude of nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Baby.

Donna Kay was born on February 2, 1952, in Slayton, Texas. She traveled all over the country as an accomplished drummer and vocalist performing with many of Nashville's up and coming studio musicians.  She, along with her husband Mark, were the owners of Sound Control Studio, a successful recording studio in Nashville for many years.  She was an accomplished business woman and friend to everyone in the music industry.  She was preceded in death by her parents, A. C. and Betty Jones of Waverly, TN; brother, Buddy Jones of Bartlett, TN; nephew, Robby Jones of Bartlett, TN; and a great nephew, Andrew Jones of Olive Branch, MS.

Donna was a compassionate person who loved people from all walks of life. She never met a stranger.  Her love for people was only matched by her love for animals.  She was involved with charity work for the safety of animals.

Her remains rest at the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon, where the family will receive friends on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, November 17, 2018, 9:00 A.M. until the Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 A.M. Rev. Melvin Bufford will officiate and interment will follow at the Memphis Memorial Gardens.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Donna's life.
