A Celebration of Life Service for Mr. David Roy Guenther will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Lebanon. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service.

Mr. Guenther, age 66 of the Club Springs Community in Smith County passed away May 11, 2026, at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

Born June 27, 1959, in White Salmon, Washington, he is the son of the late Wilhelm Otto Guenther and Elisabeth Rudin Guenther. He served in the United States Air Force and was a retired metal fabricator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Anna Violet Day; and a sister, Elizabeth Lieber.

He is survived by his wife of over forty six years, Jessica Hensley Guenther; three children: Rachel (David) Duch, David (Kati) Guenther Jr., and Jennifer (Eddie) Day; six grandchildren: Maximus, Asher & Eliza Duch, Abigail Strader, Anistyn & Emery Guenther; four sisters: Ruth Koestal, Linda Rasmussen, Mary Lou Heaps, and Colleen Ballantine; and two brothers: Wilhelm Guenther & Kenny Guenther.
