Graveside service for Mrs. Darlene Hunter Smith will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Cedar Grove Cemetery with John House officiating.  Visitation Sunday after 1:00 P.M. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith, age 73 of Lebanon passed away July 9, 2025, at Quality Care.

Born March 6, 1952, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Hugh Odell Hunter Sr. and Alice Elizabeth Marrs Hunter.  She was a Final Inspector having worked for Texas Boot and Precision Rubber.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Coffee, and a brother, Hugh Odell Hunter Jr.

She is survived by her husband of over fifty two years, Roy C. Smith Jr; two children: Rebecca Smith (John) House and Roy C. (Georgia) Smith III; grandchildren: Preston Roy Smith and Isabel Allison House; two sisters, Charlotte Dillard and Brenda Lannom; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Roy C. Smith III, Preston Roy Smith, John House, Shaw Grantham, Ricky Coffee, and James Fred Johnson
