Funeral services for Mr. Clyde R. Ricketts will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 29, 2016, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Pastor John Hunn officiating.  Interment will follow at Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Friday 3–7 PM at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home and Saturday after 9 AM at the church.

Mr. Ricketts, age 77 of Gladeville passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at St. Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville.

Born June 13, 1939, in Wilson County, he is the son of the late Gershon and Floy Tarpley Ricketts.  He was the Salutatorian of the 1957 class of Mount Juliet High School.  He worked at Precision Rubber for forty two years and is a member of Immanuel Baptist Church where he was in Carl Jones Sunday school class.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Fuqua, Lyda Ragsdale, and Nettie Ruth Ricketts, and three brothers, Hall, Edward, and Floyd Ricketts.

He is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Betty Sue Montgomery Ricketts; two daughters, Donna (Robert) Hilderbrand and Lisa (Jeff) Henderson; and five grandchildren, Kyle, Abbey and Sean Hilderbrand, Samuel and Anna Henderson.
