Funeral service for Ms. Christine “Tina” Adams Armstrong will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Glenn Denton officiating. Interment Poplar Hill Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 10 AM until service.

Ms. Armstrong, age 68 of Lebanon passed away April 30, 2026, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon.

Born September 25, 1957, in Wilson County, she is the daughter of the late Charles Edward Adams and Bettye Delores Dillard Adams. She was a 1975 graduate of Lebanon High School, and a 1980 graduate of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. She served as a Combat Cameraman in the United States Army. She did promotional videos for the National Guard, and had worked for Channel 6 in Knoxville, until becoming disabled. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Capshaw in 1986.

She is survived by two daughters: Brooke (Patrick Meier) Taylor and Amanda (Kyle) Helms; six grandchildren: Alexis & Jac Cleaver, Grayson & Ella Meier, Avery & Owen Helms; two sisters, Patricia Adams and Cathe Adams; and a brother, Clayton Adams.
