Mrs. Beulah Mae Beaty Simms age 94 of the Gladeville Community passed away October 27, 2023, at Alive Hospice.  She was born in Baxter in Putnam County, TN, daughter of the late Oscar and Clertha Maynard Beaty.  She was a graduate of Lebanon High School and was a member of Center Chapel Church of Christ.  She was the oldest member of the Ladies Bible Class at Center Chapel.  She retired from C B Ragland Company and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Charles Raymond Simms; seven brothers:  Lester, Marvin, Mayford, Manus, Melvin, Earl and an infant brother.

Survived by four sons: Doug (Annette) Simms, Donald (Kandy) Simms, David (Valerie) Simms, and Dennis (Amy) Simms; 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 30, 2023, at 1 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Blankenship officiating.  Interment – Wilson County Memorial Gardens.  Active Pallbearers:  Kevin, Bruce, Tanner, Tyler, Alex Simms, Tyler & Spencer Hayes, T.J. and Lucas Oakley.  Honorary Pallbearers:  Ladies Bible Class and Elders of Center Chapel Church of Christ.

Visitation Sunday 2-4 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo.
