Funeral services for Mrs. Ardelia "Dee" Woodard Bennett will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Bro. Dickie Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Smith County Memorial Gardens.  Visitation Saturday 3-6 PM and Sunday after 12 Noon at Ligon & Bobo.

Mrs. Bennett, age 78 of Lebanon passed away Friday, February 1, 2019, at Quality Care.

Born June 30, 1940, in Smith County, she is the daughter of the late Leslie and Mattie Docia Vaden Woodard. She is a 1959 graduate of Smith County High School, and attended Victory Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty five years, Jerry Wilson Bennett on February 7, 2017.

She is survived by son and daughter in law, Stacy & Carla Bennett; granddaughters, Allie Jayne & Anna Mai Bennett; brothers, Jimmy (Sally) Woodard and Mike (Kim) Woodard; and sister, Wilma (Ronnie) Thackxton.
