Mrs. Ann Day Browne age 85 of Lebanon passed away May 9, 2019. She was born in Smith County, April 7, 1934, daughter of the late William Clarence Day and Pearl Lynn Clemons Day. She retired from the Tennessee Woolen Mills and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-nine years, John Alexander Browne; son, William Keith Browne; two grandsons: Jonathan and Scott Browne; sister, Lela Bell Proffitt.
She is survived by three children: Jackie (Marty) Sullins, Robert A. Browne, Virginia Hall and fiancé (James Bousman); five grandchildren: Christy Hall, Rebecca Sullins, Leesha Sullins, Jeremy Browne, Josh Huff; three great-grandchildren: Aaron Hackney, Brandon and La'Juan Sullins; three sisters: Joyce (Glendon) Woodard, Linda McClanahan, Rose Palmer; brother, William Thomas Day; several nieces and nephews, and Special Friend; Leslie A. Crowe.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 12, 2019, at 2 p.m. from the Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home with Rev. Bill York officiating. Interment – Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers: Marty Sullins, Robert Hall Jr., Robert Harper, James Bousman, Bill Day, Phillip Hodge. Visitation Sunday 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home.
