Nave Funeral Home was started by Mr. Jewell W. Nave in September 1953.  He built a very successful business with his caring compassionate service.  Mr. Nave passed away in March 1997.  In March 1998, the family sold the business to Stewart Enterprises, a national funeral chain based in Louisiana.  In November 2003, Stewart Enterprises contacted us about purchasing Nave.  After much consideration, we purchased the funeral business and property in February 2004.  We operated Nave Funeral Home as a branch of Ligon & Bobo until October 2006 at which time the property was purchased by the Wilson County Government. All pre-need funeral were transferred to Ligon & Bobo where they will be honored.
